Pour the brown rice into the base of the Instant Pot pot and rinse thoroughly with tap water until the water becomes clear or close to clear.
Remove as much of the tap water as possible. Add the drinking water to the pot.
Set Instant Pot to the Steam setting and set the timer to 22 minutes. Make sure the pressure valve is sealed.
Once the timer goes off, you can immediately release the valve or wait a few minutes before releasing the pressure.
