FYI: The first four steps here are essentially the instructions on the back of the Simply Balanced pasta packaging. We’re just including it here in case you tossed the wrapper (hey, it happens).
Boil four (4) quarts of water; add salt to taste.
Add Simply Balanced Gluten-free Pasta and get water boiling again. Stir occasionally.
Boil for 12-14 minutes until pasta is to your desired softness.
Remove from heat, drain water and add pasta to serving dish.
Slice onions and mince garlic.
Season meat with oregano, salt (to taste) and pepper (to taste).
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, sliced onions and minced garlic to a pan over medium heat. Sauté for 1-2 minutes (don’t burn it!).
Add meat to pan and cook until meat has browned. You’ll want to break apart the meat every now and then in the pan and stir occasionally (but don’t stir the entire time).
Once the meat is cooked, add the sauce and let everything get hot.
Add your desired amount of pasta to a bowl and pour over sauce & meat.
